Whitney Kirby is a strong  5' 5" player who throws left handed and bats right.  Whitney typically plays first base, but also can pitch, play short and right field as needed.  Whitney plays for the Wildcats of Franklin High School located at 750 E. Fourth St., Franklin Ohio 45005.  Franklin High School is a Division II member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.  The lady Wildcats play in the competitive Mid Miami League (MML).

As a Junior, Whitney was named first team all Mid-Miami League, first team Division II All Area Team by the Dayton Daily News and she won the Coaches Award at Franklin High School as the outstanding player.  Whitney is a Senior who is registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse. 

Whitney plays club softball for the Miami Ohio Xpress Softball Club and is coached by John Rebman and Dave Brittingham.  Miami Xpress Softball Club is a premier club that travels throughout the Midwest, East and Southeastern parts of America to play against top competition, often times against existing college players and teams.  Either Coach may be reached by phone at 937-873-9949 or 513-897-0099.   

Whitney has been on the honor roll several grading periods and is enrolled in honors courses and the college preparatory program.  Whitney is determined to play softball in college where she plans to major in education.  Whitney earned more than 200 community service hours, is a member of the school's French and Thespian Club and still manages to maintain a 4.181 GPA while enrolled in honors courses. Whitney scored 22 on the ACT.  Whitney conditions all year.
