| Dawnjen'e DeLong is a right
handed student-athlete that plays shortstop and second base for
the Big Blue of Hamilton High School. Hamilton High
School is a Division I member of the Ohio High School Athletic
Association. Dawnjen'e is 5'7" and is a strong 130 lbs.

Conference (GMC) of Ohio. Hamilton High School is

Dawnjen'e has already accomplished many things through her
Junior year as a member of
the ladies softball team at Hamilton High School.
Dawnjen'e was a member of the elusive Division 1 Southwest Ohio
District All-Stars team, a member of the first team all
conference team, was a semi-finalist for the Ohio State Best
Defensive Player Division 1 (Big School) award, All State
Honorable Mention, named to the Division 1 All Cincinnati
Enquirer Softball Team, Ohio's Division 1 All Leagues first
team as an infielder.
As a Student, Dawnjen'e belongs to the National Honor
Society her senior year, is the School Senate Treasurer,
member of the Student Council, National Society of High School
Scholars, Who's-Who among American High School Students,
Scholar Athlete Award and has won letters in three Varsity
sports and maintained above a 3.0 GPA. She also
volunteers at a local hospital and is a Sunday School Teacher.
Dawnjen'e plays club softball for the Miami Ohio Xpress
Softball Club and is coached by John Rebman and Dave
Brittingham. Miami Xpress Softball Club is a premier
club that travels throughout the Midwest, East and
Southeastern parts of America to play against top competition,
often times against existing college players and teams.

Dawnjen'e, as a Junior
played in 62 games for the Xpress, had 170 at bats with 52
hits. Dawnjen'e scored 45 runs, had 42 RBI's, 15 steals and 20
base on balls with a .308 batting average and 1 homerun.
As a Sophomore, Dawnjen'e
played in 56 games for the Xpress, had 154 at bats with 49
hits. Dawnjen'e scored 46 runs, had 40 RBI's, 10 steals and 20
base on balls with a .312 batting average and 1 homerun.
Dawnjen'e continues to excel in the classroom while enrolled
in the college preparatory program. |
