Jason Murray is a strong right footed 6'1" , 165 Lb. starting Varsity Midfielder for the Westerville Central High School Warhawks located at 718 Mount Royal Ave., Westerville, Ohio  43082.

Westerville Central is an Ohio High School Division 1 member that plays in the  tough and competitive Ohio Capital Conference (OCC), Cardinal Division.   Westerville Central High School was recently formed and started as a new high school.  Without the help of upperclassmen, it is quite impressive how Jason earned many awards and accomplishments as a underclassman in the veteran Ohio Capital Conference. 

Jason earned All Ohio 3rd Team Honors and named Ohio Capital conference-Cardinal Conference PLAYER OF THE YEAR his Senior year. Jason also earned First Team All District-Central Ohio and All League first Team and Team Captain his Junior and Senior year.  Jason was the team's leading scorer 2004, named MVP 2003 and 2004 and won the 2004 team sportsmanship award. 

Jason has played club soccer at the highest and most competitive levels.  Jason continues to play club soccer with the Ohio Football Club Premier Black Team, coached by Steve Serr who may be reached at 614-890-4211.  Ohio FC Premier Club team were state cup semi finalists for 2004, semi-finalists in the Tampa Sun bowl, outright Champions in the 2004 Crew Cup and Ohio Elite Showcase Champions.  Jason played and started in 38 club games and scored 19 goals as a sophomore.  Jason started 32 games and scored 16 goals as a junior. 

Jason conditions and weight lifts year round.  Jason is a Scholar-Athlete at Westerville Central and named to the Team Academic of Excellence and is a regular on the honor roll.  Jason belongs to the ski-club, enjoys biking, refereeing and works part time.
