Gahanna Lincoln Coach Mike
Lanza was quoted 12-3-06 in the Columbus Dispatch,
"Nick's punting and kicking affected field position
immensely in every one of our games." Until Nick's
senior year, Nick followed a NCAA Division 1 kicker in a top
ten football program. Nick has the talent,
work ethic and is dedicated to playing football at the
collegiate level. Nick is a great kid both on and off
the field as demonstrated by Coach Lanza who said,
"Nick's
always been a real hard working young man. Once he
decided that he wanted to be a kicker on our football team,
he spent a lot of time on his own going out to camps and
also working with other kickers in our past that have been
real good for us and continually improves and does his own
workout in the summer and in the spring and his own workout
even during the season when a lot of people are not around.
This year he's putting that same kind of effort into trying
to be our punter for this year. Hopefully, we'll see
the same kind of return on his work ethic in punting as we
did in kicking and I highly recommend him you know for any
opportunity that might come his way".
